Wissenschaftsgeschichte in Ghent: Crossroads of Science and the Humanities

Diese Woche werden drei Mitglieder des Lehrstuhls für Wissenschaftsgeschichte nach Ghent fahren: Unter dem Thema "Making Credit, Making Fact, Making Past: History Making at the Crossroads of Science and the Humanities" findet dort eine Konferenz des Forschungsnetzwerks "Integrating the History of Science and History of Humanities" (HSHH) statt.
Kristine Palmieri trägt vor zu: "Between Nature and Culture: Fact-Making, Historical Understanding, and the Epistemology of Sanskrit in early nineteenth-century Germany", Josephine Musil-Gutsch zu "Claiming the Origins of Alchemy: How the History of Chemistry Positioned Itself between Philology and the Sciences" und Kärin Nickelsen präsentiert unter dem Titel "Making Histories of Plants and Cultures, 1860s–1890s".
